World-leading contact lens manufacturers CooperVision required an innovative tool to show parents how their child’s uncorrected vision may change as their shortsightedness progresses over time. Explaining myopia, and the associated impact on a child’s unaided vision is made easier using the three scenarios in the myopia simulator.
During her time at LiveArea Molly executed the client’s vision through a phase of collaborative workshops. Retouching each scenario to represent the varying levels of eyesight.
As the user toggles down the slider the distant point gets more blurry, and the foreground gradually drops away to full blur, representing what a child might see as their prescription worsens.
